Connective Tissue Growth Factor (CTGF) belongs to the CCN family of secreted proteins. CTGF is a member of cysteine rich regulatory proteins. It is mitogenic for endothelial cells and is involved in their migration, adhesion and survival; it is thus implicated in angiogenesis. CTGF also has multiple effects on development and differentiation.
